We raised your concerns with the companies and they provided the following feedback:

Bosch SA and Sigfox SA have never claimed to be associated with or a sponsor of this year’s Otter African Trail Run. To accuse Bosch SA and Sigfox SA of falsely marketing their involvement is simply unfounded.

As clearly stated in the article, Bosch SA and Sigfox SA are merely providing tracking devices, boosted on the SigFox SA network, to the top 30 runners participating in the event. This follows approval from the event organisers and we have fully complied with the event’s branding rules.
